Katie Walley-Wiegert

Katie Walley-Wiegert

Journalist-enthusiast turned product manager in training. Lover of language, logic, and emerging mediums. Never settling, always pushing to learn more.

I’ve always believed there is something transformative and personal about words. They take people places — make the intangible seem real. Organizations have the duty to educate people about their community and allow individuals to be known by their community through insightful content that clearly resonates.

Every error and inability to truly understand an organization’s ecosystem — customers, prospects and those just looking for industry-related info — degrades that connection.

What journalism is and what it can be evolves with technology. With strong technology savvy, design, graphics, editing and reporting experience, I understand how all these components funnel together. I create seamless packages that engage audiences.

I make sure abstract concepts have names, feelings and personalities.
