What does a website tester do?
UserPeek pays testers to visit a website, app, or digital product, complete a set of tasks,
and speak their thoughts out loud. Testers get paid for every 15 to 20 minutes test they complete. Special expertise is not necessary to get started in website testing.
Sign up and start your trial test.
Speak out your thoughts while going through a set of tasks, for about 15 minutes to 20 minutes.
Receive new tests regularly and get paid per test via PayPal short time after.
What do I need to start testing websites?
To become a UserPeek website tester you do not need much.
However, there are some requirements that you have to meet to be able to test websites and get paid:
A PC or Mac, a stable internet connection, and a proper microphone. You’ll need an iPhone, iPad, Android phone or Android tablet if you’d like to take mobile tests.
Ability to use the Chrome browser, and/or download our iOS app or Android app.
You need to be able to think out loud in clearly spoken English (at least C1 level).
You need to be at least 18 years old to apply as a user testing participant.
You need to be able to receive Paypal payments in your country.
How much will I get paid as a website tester?
You earn US$10 for every 15 to 20 minutes website testing video that is approved.
Additionally, if you qualify for a certified tester, your earnings can be higher.
For the future we plan to release additional user test formats with according compensation.
How will I get paid?
Our testers get paid via PayPal. You must have a PayPal account and make sure you are able to receive transfers via Paypal in the country where you live. Website testers will get paid right after the user test got approved.
What happens after I apply?
You will be asked to record an example user test.
Don’t worry, we’ll give you a tour and guide first so you know exactly how everything works and get started easily.
We then review your video to make sure it meets our quality standards and give you feedback.
If your example test passes the review, you’ll be approved to be a UserPeek tester.
Once you are approved, you will be able to get paid to test websites and apps.
From which countries can website testers apply?
Currently we are looking for testers from all around the world (with a few exceptions). We only need you to have good English skills (at least C1 level) and a Paypal account that allows you to receive money.
